| Chris Cannizzo has been the Certified Athletic Trainer for Maize High School the past nine years. Certified Athletic Trainers provide injury assessment and rehabilitation services to all athletes and those engaged in physical activity. Cannizzo is a 1990 graduate of Wakefield High School, Wakefield, Kansas. He received his Bachelor's Degree in 1994 from Kansas State University. In 1996, Cannizzo received a Master's Degree from Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas. Cannizzo worked in Indiana and in Hays before joining the staff at Via-Christi. He knows how important a good sports medicine program is if athletes are to return safely to the playing field. We at USD 266 are very grateful for everything Cannizzo provides to all our athletes. He and his wife, Tisha, have three children, Alexis, Danielle and Topher. |
